王刚老师于20世纪60年代初毕业于吉林大学物理系，接受了完整的高等教育。
改革开放后，他成为第一批赴法国留学的科研人员，在波尔多第一大学深造，并于学成后归国。
王刚老师长期在中国科学院从事实验物理研究和教学，培养了大量研究生，
积极参与国际学术交流，与来自法国、意大利、德国、日本、韩国、新加坡等国家的科学家紧密合作，
在超导体、插层化合物、锂离子电池、纳米科技等领域做出了重要贡献。

Dr. Gang Wang was a distinguished Chinese physicist.
In 1964, he graduated from the Department of Physics at Jilin University,
receiving a complete higher education before the "Cultural Revolution" started.
Following China's reform and opening-up, he became one of the first researchers to study abroad in France,
pursuing advanced studies at Université Bordeaux-I before returning to China.
Dr. Gang Wang dedicated his career to experimental physics research and teaching at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, mentoring numerous graduate students.
He actively engaged in international academic exchanges and collaborated closely with scientists from France, Italy, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and other countries, making significant contributions to the fields of superconductors, intercalation compounds, lithium-ion batteries, and nanotechnology.
Dr. Gang Wang was not only a witness to China's scientific progress but also a symbol of the reform era.
He devoted his life to scientific research, embodying both diligence and rigor as a scientist,
as well as kindness and wisdom as a mentor.
